The moment you have all been waiting for is here! In this video, you can hear the siren pretty well.

Wow it has some punch when it points toward you. Too bad it was recorded on a cell phone (crappy audio).

That is the pitch of the old T-128s! Sounds great. I just wish that dude would be quiet and turn off the "background music."

Awesome...sort of. The siren sounds great :D (especially since it sounds in attack), but the guy talking over it does not :x . And that sort of defeats the point of it all.

I promise everyone here that I will get a better video of one of these sirens than this one. My city's P-50 was replaced with a T-135AC last year. I haven't been able to get a recording of it testing yet, but when I do, I won't babble through it like an idiot.

I knew that this siren was going to be good, and I am sure there will be other T-135AC/DC videos in the near future...

Is anyone aware of towns that have multiple installations of the new T-135AC/DC? It sounds like it is rotating faster than the T-128.

Regarding videos, it is usually unnecessary to say "here we go" when the siren starts up. I can't stand watching siren videos where the viewer is forced to endure two minutes of someone's favorite excuse for music while viewing pages of siren statistics, mostly ending in "???." A good video is edited to the beginning of the siren sound, has no unnecessary chatter, and isn't shot twenty feet away from the siren.

Has quite a bite when it's faced towards the camera, and sounds just like a T-128.

Heh heh I suppose the suspect videos are blurry and are black & white???

It sounds like it is rotating faster than the T-128.
T-128s and the new T-135s have an adjustable rotation speed so one model doesn't rotate any faster or slower than the other.

The speed for a T-128 or new T-135 can be adjusted with a potentiometer inside the control unit.
