Davidson County changers siren policy

"The sirens in Davidson County have been around for decades"

Computer speakers on a pole are at it again. Good policy from the city though, sound them once every 8 minutes.

I'll be surprised if those sirens last a decade.

Also, I didn't know that ATI sirens wound up?

They don't. That was some other siren the TV station was playing an audio clip of.

I'm glad that a siren system, even though it was an ATI system :roll: , actually helped save lives, warn the public, and was tested both silently and audibly.

That's not the actual tone anyway. Besides, that's that generic siren sound i've heard play at the beginning of music videos, club dances & songs.

I wonder if they play that generic sound so that people dont have to listen to the high-pitched squeal that ATI's make. :wink:
