Here in Louisville, we hardly ever hear
our sirens sounding in Attack any more. This recording was made on Tuesday, October 9, 1990, at my grandparents' house. Every other month, Louisville used to test their sirens in Attack, until February 11, 1992. This is the same recording I was trying to edit Bruce Springstein out of, and I got most of the music out by converting the recording to mono, and taking out most of the high end. At the very end of this recording, you can hear the 4/5 port 1000T, which used to be at Conway Middleschool, winding down. If you listen closely, you may even be able to hear a distant 2T22 in Alert. The main two sirens in this recording are the sick Trunnel Thunderbolt, and the low pitched tan Thunderbolt at the PRP fire station. When these sirens used to sound in Attack, you could really hear just how sick the Trunnel Thunderbolt was. The sirens aren't very loud, so you may want to crank up the volume for this one. I'd like to thank my grandparents, who made countless siren recordings for me when I was little, including this one. This may be the last one of their recordings left. Enjoy!
