Grosse Pointe Woods, MI Thunderbolt 1000 updated

Sun Apr 06, 2008 9:24 pm

Here's the Thunderbolt I recorded for the monthly 1 PM test(even though it went off at 1:04pm) just as the siren is about to stop it's test, Harper woods 3 1000T's start. and after that you can hear what is possibly St. Clair Shores 2001 off of Harper Ave.

I have reuploaded this clip. It no longer has the glitches in it.

Looks like the screen is a bit torn at the bottom left of the siren. The one that I use to live by (before it was replaced by a 2001) in Olathe, KS sounded just like this one.

With the background sirens, nice little combination of them all. Like the harmony of it. :)

Wow! Great video! That's a 4/5 port Thunderbolt 1000T you've recorded. It sounds very similar to the old lower pitched one that used to be at Conway Middleschool, only this one rotates faster, and the pitch is a little higher. I love the mix of Thunderbolts and 2001's at the end!

Nice sounding Thunderbolt, and i am not a big fan of thunderbolts. I love how you can see the screen flaping, from the blower blowing air?

By the by, the 2001 you're most likely hearing is at Marter and Jefferson, which is about 1/4 mile from my apt. or both...
