This is the only close up video of any 2001 that I've ever favorited! For some reason, I like the sound of this particular 2001. It's unusually high pitch sets it apart from others. We have one here in the south end of Louisville that sounds just like this one. I've only heard it from a distance though, and I'm not sure where it's located.

BTW, is the Thunderbolt in the background the 4/5 port 1000T you recorded at that partially demolished building back in October? I thought I could hear this same 2001 at the end of that video.

Yes, that's the same T-bolt I recorded.
The building is intact, they just gutted the inside mechanicals.
They are less than a mile apart from each other.

Thanks, It's my new Sony Handycam that I am now using insted of my panasonic Lumix camera. I will be going back to that siren soon, but it will probably be in August. When I do record that one again I will be closer and from a different spot. I was on the west side of it, i will be on the southeast side of it.

The camcorder costs $299.99 in stores. It costs cheaper on eBay. It's called the Sony Handycam DCR-HC38 MiniDV Camcorder.

Thanks a bunch! I'll see if I can find a used one on Craigslist. If I can't, I'll get a new one.
