Civil Defense test 6-2-2008.mp3
My vantage point for that day: Kuliouou Beach Park. The insane 1000T is elusive and is hiding in those palm trees somewhere...

The normal-sounding 1000T, located on top of the bottom of Koko Head. It's in a pretty good spot: it shoots the alert signal pretty far for being 1.8 miles away. I could even see the outline of its horn rotating during the test.

Sirens heard in the order they fire up:
---The insane 1000T - Maunalua Bay. You can even hear the supercharger http://youtube.com/watch?v=v2wsgI3w1CQ
---STL-10 - Niu Valley Shopping Center see last months test for audio of that one(http://airraidsirens.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3856)
---MOD 3012 seen here http://airraidsirens.com/forums/viewtop ... highlight=
---Normal 1000T seen here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=jm2p2AbkcKw
After the sirens finish their 45 second test, the Hahaione valley EOWS 612 (about a mile away from my position) carries on for a good four minutes in the background. It was blasting long enough to freak out a friend who lives a couple hundred feet away from it to call me and ask if it was a real disaster going on. I hope it does that the next time so I can record it 8).
