Deathly sick Thunderbolt 1000T or 1003, 2001's heard.

This poor Thunderbolt has a broken rotator, and it has serious chopper motor problems. The full severity of these problems isn't heard until near the end of the video.

That's got to be the sickest Thunderbolt I've ever heard.

It sounds like that city hasn't serviced that Thunderbolt in years. I thought that the motor was going to completely lockup near the end. That's exactly what the Trunnel Thunderbolt that I recorded would have sounded like if it would have stayed in active service in the condition it was in. That can't be good for the motor.

I think that one nearly out does the O' Fallon Missouri siren video on YouTube. Looks like someone doesn't know how to do yearly checkups on them. With it doing that weird low tone going up and down nearly makes a whole new scenario. :?

At least the one in O'Fallon, IL was rotating. Both the O'Fallon Thunderbolt and this one appear to be having the same sort of motor problems, either severely worn brushes, or a bad armerture in the chopper motor.

Notice that when this one winds down and starts back up again, it sounds a whole lot like the Trunnel Thunderbolt I recorded. After that, it just starts going crazy!

That last minute or so was almost painful to listen to, but also cool and creepy-sounding. Still, it's sad to hear the thing on its last legs.
