Hi.

That Hurricane MKII. used to be located in Greendale WI. They took it down because the motor died. But, ASC might've preserved it. Maybe ask them about it.

I've got most of the pictures ready. I'll get them uploaded later today.

Mequon supposedly has a very old Allertor in it's system it might sound the 10/12 port tone.

Yuh. I dinnu. It had an older white colored "CD" sticker on it. You can faintly see it in one of the photgraphs I took.

Nice pics Justin! Your part of Wisconsin really does have quite the variety in sirens.

I hate that the Decot(s) got taken down, as they were relics of the way things were way back in the early times. I hope they don't continue to remove them at the rate they have been removing the other sirens around there lately, since they love to scrap them almost immediately after their removal.

There's room for two sirens on that "T" beam arrangement, but, only the T-Bolt remains there.
There might've been a different siren there in the past along with the T-Bolt.

ROSENDALE WI STH-10. They also have an STL-10. We didn't drive by it, though, so, no pictures of it yet. Pictures of it will come soon, hopefully. Whenever I get to Rosendale WI next time.

All the Decots that you said are gone are still there, you just didnt look in the right place.

The one in Sauk-Prairie is alittle bit out of town. http://www.jmarcoz.com/sirens/prariedusac6_wi.jpg

I think (ill have to check my sources) the Decot was moved from that pole onto where it is now due to the renovation of the FD.

Ripon's T-bolt used to be on top of the tower on the Police Department. A 2001 DC has repalced it.

Ah, okay. I was hoping they were still up. They're nice sirens.

I saw the old T-Bolt 1000T in Ripon WI. It was put on a ruddy looking "T" pole assembly. I got the pic in my 2nd post in this thread, I think. Not bad condition.
I wasn't sure if it was still used or not. The mount for the 2001 looks fairly strange. It looks like a lot of poles/girdirs are in front of the siren. I'd wonder how'd that affecdt sound coverage/output.

See yah later! I'm going to the Marshfield WI area on Thursday for an I.V. and some other medical stuff. I've got Crohn's disease. o_o I might be able to get a picture of a ThunderBolt 1000T, and, another older Decot siren. Among others.
