That was great , Except for the part on R-911 .
IE: Are you on the list of the
first 100 to be dialed up for the event ?? Or do you get storm
warning 19 and 1/2 minutes later , when the roof of the house
blows off :!:

Buy enough Sirens and most will hear ......

I believe there are applications where Reverse 911 or a similar system is useful. I go to a small private university of about 4,000 on campus students and we're actually putting in a system that uses Reverse 911 type technology. We wouldn't have the problems that a large city/county or even a larger school would have with contacting a large population. This system, called ConnectED by the NTI Group/Blackboard. That system, which will also be able to send texts, emails, voice mails, and other types of media based messages in an emergency.

They pictured a TON of sirens. I actually wrote them down, in order of appearance.

There is a thunderbolt siren in my head, it is always going off...

Heck, Illinois probably has all those sirens and some more! Man, I didn't think that of Minnesota either!
