I was in Auckland, New Zealand, two weeks ago. I didn't see any sirens in town, but there were British-style sirens on the roofs of a couple of rural fire stations outside of town toward Piha. Piha itself has one, plus a large number of Meerkat speakers up and down the beach that look like ATIs.
