Siren Testing Schedules...

Sun Apr 05, 2009 4:56 am

I have seen many posts on this forum asking when a particular area tests their sirens, and thought it would be fun to have a single topic devoted to this info to make it easier to find.

Just post the name of the area and when they test their sirens, along with any other info that we might find useful (such as if they only test during specific months or if the test will get canceled due to a few clouds in the sky...).

Here's what I've got:

Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren Counties in Ohio: First Wednesday of the month at noon
Boone, Kenton and Campbell Counties in Kentucky: First Wednesday at noon

Kettering, Ohio: First Monday at noon
Oakwood, Ohio: First Wednesday at noon (only one siren - ASC T-128 at 30 Park Avenue)

Lucas County Ohio: (Toledo metro area) First Friday of the month at 12:00.
-Tests are only canceled in severe weather, which so far (as far back as I can Remember) has never happened. 8)

Tyler, how many sirens do I own now?

More siren testing times for this area...

Kenton County, Kentucky - First Wednesday at noon

Can't find info for the rest of the counties in the "Greater Cincinnati" area, but I would imagine it's the same for the others as well.
