Either you guys get some monster wind gusts daily, or there is something wrong with the rotator. The Thunderbolts here usually stay in the same position unless they are activated.
We had some good winds in last nights storm but ive never seen the horn move directions in much stronger storm winds in the past

We do get some pretty good wind gusts sometimes, but I'm pretty sure the T-bolts around here aren't the only ones that blow around, probably just depends how tight the drive band is. I'm not kidding though, the one down the street was facing northwest yesterday and today it's facing east, and I know the rotator isn't broken. Most of them around here seem to move quite a bit.

I'm a bit surprised that particular siren went bad. I grew up in that area, and it's probably one of the best t-bolts Shawnee has. Hopefully they repaired in successfully! Sadly the remaining t-bolts and 2T22's will probably be replaced sometime in 2010. If I remember correctly, the Fire Chief back in '04 said he planned to keep the older ones around until 2010 if they lasted.
