Are the 2001's newer ones with the "good"/new rotator (on the SRNB or 130?)

According to the survey thing that Clayton gave us, most of the 2001s were installed around 1992, so they'd be older models (though not the really old roundback ones).

The 2001s in Sharonville were definetly installed around that time, and the same may apply for a few other jursdictions around there.

Here are the ones I know that must've been installed years after, and around when they were installed.

Forest Park-Around 2004

Wyoming-I believe one was installed between 1999-2002, while the other must've been installed around 2004.

Addyston-1999-2002?

Cleves-1999-2002

Green Twp-1999-2002

Symmes Twp-1999-2002

Delhi Twp-2002-2006?

Jason(Jpressman8), didn't you say that the one in North College Hill was installed around 1997?

For Evendale, Loveland, Anderson Twp, Sycamore Twp, and Reading, I have no idea when theirs were installed.

Yes that one was installed around 96/97 years. It replaced a sterling M or H siren. The sterling used to be on on a tower on top of the police station.

Well, nobody could tape a siren himself, but Jason got a system recording from his house.

Here is a list of the 2001s from the survey along with approximate installation date:

Siren #34, Montgomery Road south of Cornell (Blue Ash/Sycamore Township), 2000
Siren #40, on building at GE complex (Evendale), 1996
Siren #100, at park near municipal complex in Evendale, 2000
Siren #104, on pole between police and fire stations in North College Hill, 1998
Siren #105, end of Lamarc Trail (Blue Ash), 1999
Siren #107, Glendale-Milford just west of Plainfield (Blue Ash), 1999
Siren #109, Sekitan and Boymel (Addyston), 2001
Siren #151, Sekitan and Church (Addyston), 2001
Siren #163, I-75 North and I-275 East (Sharonville), 1992
Siren #164, end of Rayman Drive (Sharonville), 1992
Siren #167, Reed Hartman Highway and Fields-Ertel Road (Sharonville?), 1994
Siren #169, on hillside between I-71 North and Fifth-Third Bank (Fairfax - see note below for more info), 1992
Siren #174, end of Jilbe Lane (Loveland), 1996
Siren #178, Medallion Drive (Evendale), 2000
Siren #179, Oakland Road (OH 48) and Founder's Drive (Loveland), 1996
Siren #180, Loveland-Madeira Road east of Twightwee (Loveland), 1996
Siren #181, Chapelsquare Lane (Deerfield Township?), 1996
Siren #182, Loveland-Madeira Road north of Remington Road (OH 126), 1996
Siren #183, Humphrey south of Steeplechase (Montgomery), 1998
Siren #184, Deerfield Road and Deerfield Pointe Drive (Milford), 1996
Siren #185, Chisholm Park (Wyoming), 2000
Siren #186, Kuliga Park (Bridgetown/Green Township), 2000
Siren #187, State Road (OH 264) and Laurelwood Drive (Cleves), 2000
Siren #188, Main Street (Addyston), 2001

Note on siren #169 - Bing Maps view (right below the push pin). Hard to describe this location if you're not familiar with the area, but it's 3/4 of the way up a steep hill between an office building and the freeway in a fairly wooded area. Will investigate further in the near future.

Wow, that 2001 is really close to the SD-10 in front of Shroder High School! When I compare that 2001 location with the HCEMA map with a Hamilto County map showing the jurisdictions divided, it looks to be in Columbia Township, not Fairfax.

I couldn't find Cornell & Montgomery, GE Plant, and Deerfield Rd & Deerfield Pointe Dr.

The 2001 labeled end of Lamarc Trail is actually on a church property at end of Siebenthaler Ave in Reading.

Glendale Milford west of Plainfield is on Evendale Elementary property.

Rayman Dr is actually Runyan Dr.

End of Jilbe Ln is actually next to a school on S Lebanon Rd.

I believe Chapel Square Ln was moved from there to Mayrow Dr.

The 2001s in Forest Park, next to Wyoming City Building, Kellogg & Sutton, Camp Dennison, Mt. St Joe's, Creek Rd next to Webb C Gower Park, a chuch Plainfield Rd & Myrtle Ave, on Rich Rd Phillips Park, Union Cemetary Rd between Anitetam Dr and Thistlehill Dr, and end of Spartan Dr in Evendale, must've been installed after the survey, or possibly not included.

I counted, and there are 11 existing 2001s in the county that were not in the survey.

I have worked the first Wednesday's in July, August, and September, and therefore have been unable to film any more siren tests. On the Wednesday's I work, I work from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. I'm not sure what siren I will record next. I'm thinking about maybe refilming the T-128 that I flimed on June 3rd, or maybe the Federal Signal 2001 at Kuliga Park. I would like to film the Thunderbolt on Oak Hills High School or the Thunderbolt on top of St. Bernard Elementary, (which is only a block away from where I use to live). However, those being schools, and school being back in session, people might get suspicious if they see me pointing camera at a school.

I was going by the latitude and longitude listed for each siren in the survey, which apparently isn't completely accurate. I found another table with the correct addresses and specifics:

Siren #34 - Cincinnati Police Target Range, 10139 Spartan Drive, Evendale
Siren #40 - "GE Building 74", 1 Nueman Way, MD E152 (Ethan should be able to give us more info as he was talking to Clayton about this one)
Siren #100 - no change
Siren #104 - no change
Siren #105 - Our Lady of the Sacred Heart church, 170 Siebenthalter Avenue, Reading
Siren #107 - Evendale Elementary School, 3940 Glendale-Milford Road, Evendale
Siren #109 - no change
Siren #151 - no change
Siren #163 - no change
Siren #167 - no change
Siren #169 - Thornview and Creek, Sharonville
Siren #172 - Loveland Hurst Middle School, 801 South Lebanon Road, Loveland
Siren #173 - Phillips Park, 11760 Rich Road, Loveland
Siren #174 - Loveland Commerce Park, 122 Commerce Drive, Loveland
Siren #178 - exact address is 10690 Medallion Drive
Siren #179 - exact location is 7079 SR 48 (White Pillars Farm)
Siren #180 - exact location is 10980 Loveland-Madeira Road (Loveland public works complex)
Siren #181 - exact location is 11949 Mason Road, Symmes Township
Siren #182 - exact location is 9425 Loveland-Madeira Road (Remington fire station)
Siren #183 - at Hopewell Park
Siren #184 - 8151 Glendale-Milford Road, Camp Dennison
Siren #185 - no change
Siren #186 - no change
Siren #187 - no change
Siren #188 - no change

And one more:
Siren #189 - College of Mt. St. Joseph in Delhi, installed in 2002

The survey table says that #189 was supposed to be a replacement for the old SD-10 at the Sisters of Mercy complex in Delhi (Siren #53), and at the time, Motorola was in the process of acquiring that siren (so I guess Motorola is who we can blame for those 2001s).
