History of ASC/ACA?

I thought that Biersach and Niedermeyer was in the siren business before WWII. Mobil Directos did not come out until after the war, if I'm not mistaken.

BNCO started making sirens during WW2. ASC's site shows a photo of some Mobil Directos (gas driven) being made.

The 10-12 electric Mobil Directo was released after WW2, though.

I think I've seen one of those around here - no ASC branding whatsoever. I could be mistaken, though.

The T-128 closest to my house also doesn't have ASC branding on it. It was installed around 2006.

If you want to see an older T-128, go to Greendale, WI. That one was put up around 2000.

I think he's trying to say that it consistently achieves the dB output that it was designed to produce.

I know what you're saying though, it was somewhat confusing in his post.

Good idea. The only problem is everything I learn seems to be exposed as BS later on by others. I initially thought what I'd posted here was the truth.

Is Mr. Beirsach still around? I'm pretty sure he passed, but that doesn't sound right off of the tongue...
