There's the 1000 in Norman, which we already recorded...
Then there's a 2T22 in El Reno on top of a downtown building...
But it's not so much the building mount that makes it sound so cool. It has to do with the surrounding area. We were in a giant parking lot with large buildings around us and the siren. The sound goes to all of these buildings and bounces all around in between them, and all the trees and grass. That's how we get the effect. I'm pretty sure someone more knowledgeable about acoustics could explain it better than me though.
Now that I think of it, this is probably the only building mounted siren in Oklahoma County. Edmond may have one, but I've only found a few Thunderbolts and 2001s. Building mounts aren't too common around here.
