I agree...I have to admit, I used to be one of those kids (like when I VERY first joined this board). (cough*cheetawolf*) When I read discussions and debates and learned the real, hard facts about it, it didn't seem feasible to worry about yet. I have to appreciate what the board has done for me, it has taught me a great level of maturity and respect that most other kids my age lack. :)

weasel2htm: My uncle went to OU, and played football at Norman High. I lived in Norman the first 10 years of my life and (Whelens or not :P) it will always seem like home to me.

Same here. I caught on pretty fast, but unlike most of the young ones, I knew I couldn't get a giant, heavy, powerful siren for $10. At 13, I seem significantly more mature than my classmates.
I love firefighting and sirens. Somehow they go together.

Here are the results of the jaunt to Bonnie Brae. We passed by South on the way there, so I got the silhouette shot there:

With a setup like that the Thunderbeam shouldn't be going anywhere!

Nnnnnnnnnope. Norman doesn't have any Mods.

It's the I-Force!

Sorry to hijack the thread more than I already have, but here's a few more "shadow" pics...

Cool shots! That Whelen actually looks a little creepy there.

Thanks! I have to agree...some of the Whelens here DO look pretty creepy. The one at Will Rogers World Airport is probably the scariest, it's only maybe 15-20 feet up there and most of OKC's are 50-60 feet, and the thing is monsterous.
