Sun Oct 10, 2010 2:27 pm

Hello
A few days ago i buyed a General City Signal Model 351.
I searched the internet for infomations about this Siren, but i didn't find anything.
So if anyone here can tell me something about this siren, it would be very nice.

basiclly what you got is a relabled Federal 66L. Looks identical to the one I have, except mine has a dented back by the name plate. Great sounding siren too, sounding a bit lower pitched than a Q but with a quicker wind down. As for the date, I'm not sure, I'm sure the vehicle siren collectors on here can tell you more.

The stator openings do not look like a Federal model 66. It appears to be a re-branded model WL. To check measure the rotor diameter, a model 66 has a 6 1/2" rotor, a model WL has a 5 1/2" dia. rotor.
