Here is a list of known sirens in Campbell County, Kentucky.

Alexandria
Alexandria Pike and East Alexandria Pike (2001)
Former Campbell County Courthouse, 8352 E. Main Street (2001)
Alexandria Pike south of Camel Crossing near the high school (2001)
AJ Jolly Golf Course, 11541 Alexandria Pike (end of an access road off the parking lot; MOD4016)

California
3707 Smith Road next to the fire station (EOWS*115)

Cold Spring
End of Lake Watch Court (2001)
On top of the fire station, 4113 Alexandria Pike (EOWS*115)

Dayton
7th Avenue behind the fire department (2001)

Fort Thomas
On top of Ruth Moyer Elementary, 219 Highland Avenue (TBolt)
On top of St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1803 North Fort Thomas Avenue (TBolt)

Highland Heights
116 Renshaw Road next to the fire department (2001)

Melbourne
Pendry Park, end of Williams Lane (MOD4016)

Newport
2nd and Columbia (MOD2008)
I-471 North and Dave Cowens Boulevard (MOD2008)
Veteran's Memorial Park, 26 Caroline Drive (MOD4016)

Silver Grove
Four Mile Pike and West River Road on top of the fire station (EOWS*115)

Southgate
On top of the old fire station, Electric Avenue (EOWS*115)

Wilder
Next to the city building, 520 Licking Pike (TBolt)
Johns Hill Road and Observatory Pointe (2001)

I believe that's all of them.

Also, the county recently received grant money that will pay for two new sirens and new radios. One of the new sirens will be replacing the TBolt in Wilder and the other will be going up near Woodfield School in Fort Thomas, filling in a gap that was created when the TBolt on the school was removed during renovations.

In case you're wondering, I'm the one who updated the St. Louis sirens.

HOWEVER, it seems the county-wide update of some sirens includes additions that are not on the county website yet... just noticed a Whealen WPS (I'm fairly new to... "sirenspotting") that wasn't there before this past week near our neighborhood.

So, I'm not sure how up to date now that list is....

WOW! THANK YOU BOTH! That is incredible! Beaker, Did you just do a collaboration? That is awesome, thank you. Oldiesmann, I will add yours ASAP! Thank you for the tips! I am sorry for the delays lately, my semester just started and I am busy trying to get under way. I will be back here more often now! Thank you thank you!

EDIT: If you wish to help me locate sirens, I now have 2 maps. One is called "Nationwide" and the other is called "Sirens IL/IN/OH/KY/TN". Some concern was raised about the map being too unstable if the nations sirens are on one map, so I have separated these states into their own for now. If you have sirens to add in a state besides IL/IN/OH/KY/TN, just add them to the Nationwide map and I will make a new regional map for those. If your sirens are in the mentioned states, just add them to that one.

I really appreciate the help yall.

Obviously, mine are in Missouri.

Sure helps finding them with maps.google.com along with the birds-eye view from maps.bing.com.

Lots of siren's don't quite stick out on google at overhead or streetview, so I'll go to Bing for the birds-eye shot (and it helps you can view from the different compass directions if you need to)

WOWWWWWWWWWW Do I feel stupid or what?? Look at me adding your sirens to my IL/IN/OH/KY/TN map. I swear its not because I was educated in KY! I have buds in STL, but they are all on the IL side so I didnt even think about that! I am going to change the map to include MO. Sorry, I am not nearly as dumb as I can sound! Thanks again!

Here are some from Kenton County, KY (directly west of Campbell County). Apparently West Shore Services installed 28 FS-2001s back in 2000 (see http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2000/0 ... irens.html), but I don't know where all of them are. These have been found looking in obvious places or along major highways...

Covington
Madison Avenue just south of Birch Avenue

Fort Mitchell
Parking lot behind the city building, Dixie Highway and Highland Avenue

Fort Wright
Highland Avenue just north of Ashlawn Place

Independence
Taylor Mill Road just south of Sycamore Drive
5400 block of Madison Pike south of the city building

Morning View
Rich Road just north of Madison Pike

Ryland Heights
In front of the fire department, 10041 Decoursey Pike

Taylor Mill
Parking lot behind the city building, 5225 Taylor Mill Road
Old Taylor Mill Road just north of the entrance to Scott High School

Marshall, MO Sirens

FYI: Google maps is a little old, if you do a street view of the 2001-130 across from Pizza Hut (just south of the Wal-mart supercenter) you will see the low mounted 2T22 that was replaced by the 2001.

I haven't used google maps in a very long time, how do I view the markers?
Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right.
