Great find! I've always wanted to see a siren on a transmission pylon. For some reason, it looks much cooler when mounted on latticework.

It looks like that the STH had to be installed as they were still building the tower, as the top of the tower is enclosed around the siren.

That tower would have almost certainly been disassembled from it's original position and reassembled at the fire station (minus two of it's cross arms) so getting the STH10 up there wouldn't have been to much of an issue. I've been by that siren in person years ago and it's indeed a transmission pylon (looks like the older dual circuit 100Kv type that Duke Energy put up all over the place in the Carolinas years ago).
