Petrochemical Plant Sirens

Is there any sirens where you live for chemical emergencies because you live near a petrochemical plant?

The Marathon Oil Refinery down by Detroit used to have a few Federal Model 7? sirens that ran off 480 volt three-phase. I don't know if they are still there or not? However, there are other industrial locations in the Downriver area that have sirens for industrial warning applications. In fact, BASF in Wyandotte, Mich. has some sirens, but I am not familiar with what they use.

Sarnia, Ontario has a variety of sirens from ACA Alertronic 6000's to EOWS 1212's, ATI's and Modulators.

Also, I believe in Copper Cliff, Ontario in Greater Sudbury has a few sirens for chemical spills. I remember reading and article about the sirens when there was a leak last summer.

There's a pipeline pumping and storage station about 30 miles south of me near Pontiac that has a Modulator. There was also a plant that made ammonium nitrate near me that had a Thunderbolt. It's been closed for a few years and mostly torn down, but that last time I went by the Tbolt was still there.

The Kinder-Morgan petrochemical processing facility (most likely just a gas plant) about 40 miles from me in Snyder, TX, has a Modulator.

There used to be a uranium/plutonium enrichment facility in northwest Hamilton county north of Cincinnati. They had EOWS 1212s and one 612. When the plant closed the sirens were then tied into the county system.

When I was in Houston back in October 1996, I remember seeing oil refineries there with Whelen WPS-2800 (or 2700 series back then???) sirens.

They have a STH-10 there, but several times while near there, you can clearly hear 2 sirens in attack, but it could be echo.
There is a Model 7 clearly seen from fort st north of scheafer.

There's a Siratone 1212 in a chemical plant on Jefferson south of the rouge plant area. I think it's Pennsylvania street.

There's a small BASF plant in Callery, PA, not too far from here. As far as I know, they just have a 2001-SRN on the plant site.
