I wouldn't worry about the power source, but rather of overloading the truck.
If your siren is a-failin'
Chances are that it's a Whelen
And if it's just about to die
Then it must be an ATI

Perhaps some sort of cowl could be constructed that would enclose the ports like an Allertor, then channel the sound forward under the vehicle through a tube, containing a butterfly-type damper for output control.

i live in a area with no weather concerns so it should not matter, then againg people are always waiting to screw you over
"Againg" people are always waiting to screw you over?
I don't know if that word is supposed to be "Again" or "Aging." Either way..
So you should be able to go around blasting a Sterling all over the place
and if it bothers someone and they report you then they are "screwing" YOU over?
Dad, what does that CD mean on that big yellow horn? Well son, I believe it stands for Cyclone Device......

yeah that was sappose to be "again" and i know about the prison situation, my parents are correction officers. i dont mean to sound so criminal, but these things were indeed made to make noise, not site on a building turning into clumps of rust. i did not mean i was hoing to blast it all the time, just use it as a horn. and i like the cowl idea.

Well, it might prompt questions such as, "Why the heck does that man have a tornado siren in his pickup?!"

It's surely not like the times when they let a Bee Thunderbolt ride through the city.
