Haha, great pics, man! Glad I could help you out with obtaining it too! Have fun restoring it and giving the PCVFD a hand in getting it to a new place, Rick. They appreciate the help

. That thing is definitely a beast when you're next to it for sure!

Sitting on the siren...dude, that puts it in perspective. You don't really see just how big sirens are until you're right there, eye level, man to man face to face with them.

Congrats on getting this siren. It's not often that you see a privately owned Allertor.
The actual size of these are hard to determine when looking at a photo of one mounted on a pole. The only time you get an idea of the actual size is when you are driving or walking towards one that is pointed at you. I was surprised the first time I saw an Allertor up close.

What's even more amazing is how small the actual guts of that siren are.

Actually, YES! Last night they came out and were like "OK, I have to ask...what is that thing?! We saw it lastnight and thought maybe it was another siren, but weren't too sure!" (I had the projector off and in the garage for the night, since I didn't have any bolts to put it on. The projector is
now secured with six-1/4-20 stainless bolts!).
It also doubles as an MN snow blower!!!

Thank you! I wonder if anyone else here has one?? They are quite difficult to come by, and I am very happy I was able to get this one!
