OK, here are the maps that I've created of the Indianapolis Metro siren coverage. I've taken the map that Brandon Smith gave me of the Marion County siren system and totaly updated and basically made a new map from the old one. Then I used created maps from scratch for the other counties. I contacted as many of the city's and county's that I could to get information on their systems. Now I've got to the point of numbering them so that they match up with my data sheets. I think Anderson and Martinsville both have nothing but 2001's but until I'm sure I'm not going to label the sirens. I never got a response back from their respective departments in charge of the sirens. So tell me what you think,

If you have any questions just e-mail me. Also I've got Excel list's and all of my original files for the maps if anyone would like to have a copy, again just shoot me an e-mail. But I want to get finished with the numbering first before I send them out.

I've been to Anderson and have a friend there who is very involved with the city. He told me they have all 2001s plus that's all I've seen there.

We went to Anderson today, and I took about an hour to check up on some sirens. I went to five different ones that I was unsure of and they were all 2001's. This combined with your info makes me 99.9% sure that they are all 2001's. I'm prolly gonna go out sometime this spring and get some pictures of them all. So that makes 11 confirmed 2001's in Anderson. I'm gonna try e-mailing the Fire Department in Martinsville again to see if I can get any info from them.
