Oh one more question for you Eric, If I somehow found a set of upper & lower intakes with dampers for my" 2t22"? would that automatically make it a "3t22"? because it left the facttory as a "2t22" I guess it would be a 3t22 clone then because it's not a true 2t22 anymore. But it's not a true 3t22 either because it left the factory as a "2t22" making it a hybrid. I guess being a hybrid ,It would have to be called a "xt22" because it's a conglomeration of missmatched parts.or maybe they're matched because everything bolts together the same way.Don't anyone else bother trying to explain any of what I just said above cause I'm trying to make a point. Do we have to be super politically correct on everything we say & do on this board?!!! Jeez
Well, I guess that would make it a 5t22.
2t22+3t22=5t22

If this.....
"xt22" What's an xt22?
It's a 2t22.
....is "ball busting" I give up.

Back to reality.....
Nice job packing; but where are you shipping it?
It's going out to a guy in California. Not sure if he's on this board
or not. He has a few sirens. He said it got there ok. We had some
screw-ups with the shipping cost but other than that it went ok.
If I sell a siren on ebay again I'm going to make sure the frieght
shipping calculator isn't on the auction page.
Dad, what does that CD mean on that big yellow horn? Well son, I believe it stands for Cyclone Device......

Sarcasm is completely lost on this board.

Post a bit of it and you'll end up getting a redundant lesson, as you've seen. I predict someone will be around soon to correct you about the 5T22 as well.

Nice job. Although I read the title of the thread as "How I created my 2T22" and thought "Oh Cool! Someone built a siren."

NICE work, and I can tell that you are a quality/detail man! It will pay off in that you won't get any damage with that kind of packing, even if the train derails. I had to ship a 1930s antique washing machine from here in Los Angeles to a guy in Boston, and I'll tell you it was a JOB.

If I buy a siren on eBay that's near you, I'll try to hire you as shipping agent :D

Yes, that's a real 500-lb Federal SD-10 I'm holding (braggart!)
