I guess one bad apple spoiled the whole barrel. If the Siren is going to be crushed, they better recycle the material so it can be used again. At least the guts will be salvaged. Also, when did this siren get installed?

Yes' in brea it is illegal to sound ANY mechanical siren, they say it sounds to close to a Q-siren.
? 8.38.140 PROHIBITED ALARM SYSTEMS.
A. Audible alarm systems similar to sirens. It is unlawful to install or maintain on the exterior or interior of any building, an alarm system which upon actuation emits a sound which is similar to sirens in use on emergency vehicles or used for civil defense purposes.

Is there anything in that ordinance which talks about the destruction of equipment? I think it is quite ridiculous that they would do that!

This is the closest Thunderbolt to my house, and I can't believe they would do such a thing! This really saddens me, as one more Thunderbolt awaits the day of its death.
When this day comes, are they going to kill off the remaining Thunderbolts of Franklin County?

i would say they will, Im shocked it has taken them this long to get rid of the old sirens. How many more is left 1 or 2 tbolts?

I think there may only be 1 or 2 replaced. We have 11 left as of right now.
