I don't think the stators can get past the platforms.

If look in photo 2 you can see that the platform that holds the motor is not fully attached to the base making me think the rotor is inside the base (also why would you use that big of a base and have noting in it)

So you could have better support for the weight of the siren. Considering the fact that it has a huge 50HP motor and also stators and horns, that would probably make it extremely heavy.

As a welder I also have to mention that the heavy gauge metal they used would also add considerably to this thing's weight. I've seen some heavy sirens have weight distribution platforms under them (Thunderbolt 100XX mainly) to reduce strain on the support structure. The Springdale mall Thunderbolt (I know some still call it Tri county) is just mounted on an I beam. I think the pyramid shaped platform under it has a role to play in that weight distribution, similar to the trussing seen on HOR Super Sirexes and Deer Park's Sterling.
