Franz? wrote:OK Bob, since we got that nice available chauffered limo with flashing lights etc, how many nurses can it seat comfortably
Six nurses comfortably, and 8 cute nurses more comfortably!
Franz? wrote:and how's the climate control in the passenger compartment.
Climate control? We don't got no stinkin' climate control.
Actually, I sweat rather than increase fuel consumption by using AC.
Also don't want to further burden the engine with its increased electrical load from the lights and siren and effort pushing through air at higher speeds.
Franz? wrote:Is the passenger compartment equipped with running boards and grab handles for the terminally short?
Yes! It does have running boards and convenient handles. And I am good at lifting women in without getting caught goosing!
Franz? wrote:Since there are at least 2, possibly 5 (2 fairly small) who may have nothing to do Wednesday night (no planned events) I can designate you for a tourguide, and you can haul them around the city to view the sites.

Flower patches should be on the tour. You might need hearing protection if they get to yackin it up.

Also do you have a list of BailBondsmen in Denver?

I mean the Police Department's on Long Island, either by Helicopter or Vehicle, will do the emergency blood runs from Hospital to Hospital. The volunteer FD's by me are never involved.

Oh.
Thanks Cyrun.

I joined MED-Stat in 1989, 10 years before joining my volunteer fire department.

I asked Denver Police if they would do it but they will not.

Years ago I was cleaning the chimney of a Denver Police officer. (She was so attractive I wanted her to frisk me and put me in handcuffs!)(Unfortunately she is gay.)
She said she'd like to do those runs.

Colorado State Patrol has done "blood relays"!

A mountain hospital called for a specimen of a patient in critical condition to be rushed red lights and siren to Denver.

I called CSP and asked if a trooper could pick up the specimen from the hospital and head east on I-70 as I headed west from Denver.

Amazingly, they were able to do it!

I called the hospital and they took the specimen to their information desk at the main entrance, which saved time of the trooper trying to find the laboratory.
He rushed it to the east border of his troop (jurisdiction) where a female trooper received it from him and rushed it to an exit I was able to reach before her.
I crossed I-70 and waited on the eastbound on-ramp.
Then she escorted us to the east border of her jurisdiction which was the east end of the Eisenhower Tunnel. (Going up the long grade to the tunnel, I could not keep up with her so called CSP and she slowed a little.)

From there it was mostly down hill to Denver.

Every minute CSP saved my heading west more than doubled the time saved off the transport!
THANK YOU CSP!

Next time this happens, I'll ask if they can bring it to the east end of the Eisenhauer Tunnel.
BUT, they advised they may not always be available.

Ummm Bob, we may have a problem here.

At least 2 of the "girls" carry personal rechargable battery powered fan devices for their personal tropical vacations. and a couple of the others are of an age where AC is a necessity. Have the damn AC unit serviced and ready, and leave the lights off. I'm doin my best to get your tourist business going, and you gotta be a little accomodating.

BTW, LN gets shotgun regardless of what anybody else says.

If you get caught improperly lifting, you're on your own. I know these girls, and you could be in deep trouble. You are looking at minimally 120 girlyears of nursing experience. THINK before acting!

Bob I'll need complete pics of the vehicle interior including makeup mirrors by Thursday latest, so the girls can evaluate your proposed City Tour.

Oh yea, Air Conditioning is NOT negotiable, it MUST function.

What? Me have a digital camera?
Last thing I had that was digital was a prostate exam.
Liked it so much I asked the doctor for a 2nd opinion!

The two front visors have a lighted mirror.

I'll reinstall the third rear seat. I took it out to reduce weight and improve gas mileage. It holds only two people.
I can take five guests. If wife, Youqing, does not go, six.

Everyone must understand that I am on 24-hour call and they may get taken on a joy ride. But it is very rare in the evening.
Maybe LN can operate your Unitrol siren.
If you have an extra, I could use another P.A. microphone. The one I have sounds lousy.

What time are they free?
I can take them to the Denver Botanic Gardens and City Park among other places. Maybe Governor's Mansion, also.

We can buy pizza at Safeway which Youqing improves by adding green peppers, onions, GARLIC!, olives, celery, silkworm larvae, carrots, parsley, etc.

We ain't that classy.
We use recycled paper napkins.
Youqing, my wife, from Yantai, China, say silkworm delicious and nutritious.
[Warning to silkworm who stop making silk!]
