Very interesting.

Which file is the recording of the Allertor doing the 'Yelp' signal? One of the Allertor recordings wouldn't play for me, so I wonder if it is that one.

Is there a recording of a 7/10 port H.O.R. in there somewhere?

Regards,
Jerry.

I'm pretty much just converting the audio files to video via WMM. So far I've had no luck, I got one folder done and every upload to Youtube failed. Guess I might have bit off a little more than I could chew, but I'll try to make it work.

I am only uploading audio files as of this point. I am leaving the door open for people to take credit for what is theirs, and if there is a problem with the file on Youtube, I will simply just delete it. No one is going to know if they just click on it and their property comes up though, so I am still trying to be careful.

Just to mention, there's a file called allertor-tbolt.wmv which actually contains a Sentry Defender rather than an Allertor.

As far as I know Youtube doesn't accept audio files. You can get around that by adding a blank picture so that it saves as a video file.

Thanks to Jason for organizing these and to Charlie for hosting the download place. This is so cool...talk about a time warp! Makes me wonder what has happened to some of the people who have come & gone in 10 years.

LOL, under the Random Unk file the ones that start with DCP are ones I took... the first DCP picture is of Mike Stalnecker and the controls for the Whelen WS-1000 that is heard in the Tremont recording, the second DCP picture is of the Whelen tone generator for the WS-1000 (note in the first picture it was being controled by an old Federal timer) and the third picture is of the WS-1000 in Tremont, Pa. The final DCP picture is of the "new" ASC T-121 in Frackville, Pa that replaced a diaphone... that was taken in about 2002 so it was an early version of the ASC T-121 (not that they have changed). Good to see these pictures again!!
