If anyone has heard of Tboltmaniac on YouTube, he has a video of him walking around the siren and he zooms in to see the chopper and it is single tone. Did Decot ever make single-toned sirens?

IIRC, they did. I think they were 15 port as well.

There was a news video about one of those sirens malfunctioning in Sacramento. It was a single-tone siren and it sounded like it had nine or ten ports. It was several years ago.

I read in other articles that Sacramento's sirens were tested, at least annually, as recently as 2011.
