The H.O.R. Story

Thu Apr 17, 2014 2:34 am

To all...I have been in contact with new member Rich Ricci (son of Harry O Ricci) and have received the entire story of H.O.R. the man and the company along with pictures of Harry O Ricci the perfectionist behind those classic sirens.
In the next few weeks (as time allows around my work hours) I will relay this great story and pictures of this Italian immigrint and the small company that made the big sirens.....so stay tuned cause none of the others (Federal, Sterling etc) have such a story on a personal basis.

Nice, the H.O.R. sirens have always been shrouded in mystery.

That's just like the one in cinci!!!!! The one that plays the really creepy diminished fifth "tri tone". Otherwise known as "The devils chord" on guitar.

You're thinking of Hamilton, OH. (Butler Co.), Cincy is in Hamilton County, OH.
I will be watching.
