How about you remind those jerks who payed for it. Knowing my family, I would probably tell them "if you don't get off my lawn, I will force you off it, now scram!"
That is just great! The US just keeps getting better and better. Not! People confiscating others property on their property because they don't like it. Wake up America!
What are you guys talking about. That's what neighborhood associations do. If someone signs into a neighborhood association they agree to the rules of the association.
They bring it on themselves. It's all in the name of "property values." In some cases if you don't follow the rules (rules you agree to when you signed on) the association can take your house from you.
If you hate them why did you join the association. You must have joined or they wouldn't have any say over it. There's plenty of room in that garage for it anyway.

And then get it impounded by the police and have to go to court. A fellow member on here did just that and got in deep s*** with the city. My advice would be to think think think, and then act.
Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right.

Tell the d@mn "homeowner association" it is your property and if they lay a finger on it, you will call the sheriff, have them arrested for trespassing, and file a class action lawsuit. That aught to keep em away ;)

Guys, Guys! Cut it out!

I talked to them, they said they won't bother me about it as long as it's not outside for long periods of time.

I hate to beat the dead horse, but did you talk to them or notify them that you have an air raid siren, and when you would test it?

It doesn't run, so they don't have anything to worry about until he gets another chopper motor.

I understand that, but they shouldn't be allowed to confiscate someone's property because they don't like it. What would be next, tow your vehicle away because the paint color doesn't match the home? If you can't tell I'm not a fan of other people telling me what I can and can't do with my property on my property.

Well, I started to strip the paint off of the Catawba horn, and I painted the rotator panels.

...might want to give those panels a second or third coat, I can still see metal through them. (This is why it's always a good idea to lay down a coat or two of primer when painting metal...)
