Up close and personal with a MOD 3012 (stupid placement!)

Mon Nov 21, 2011 11:31 pm

Here's a video you don't see everyday. I found this video of a VERY up close and personal tour of a MOD 3012. And where was it mounted you ask?

On the roof of a parking garage, right next to parking spaces. You really have to watch this to believe it (the individual filming walks right up and touches it).

See for yourself and ask yourself if this is not the stupidest place to put a siren!:

At least with the ASC i-Force you get a soft-startup that warns you to plug your ears. This one will scare the crap out of you though!
What happened when Napoleon went to Mt. Olive? Popeye got pissed.

In downtown Birmingham, MI On a parking garage they have a 2001 setup almost the same way. It's a bit taller, but you can park next to it on 2 sides.

You would go deaf if you parked close enough to it.

Hope it has a soft-start.
I own some electric motors. Not any sirens yet.

Would be a nice windfall spot a Stanley Steamer van to clean car seats on test days.
