Fun that we get to hear an ASC in (correct me if I'm wrong) Scream in this video.

I think its hilarious that they say that puny little E-Class can cover the same amount of area as that broken T-128. That's just funny.

What happens if more than one area can't hear a siren. That's just stupid

I'm sure they're planning to fix it. The mobile siren is just there as a temporary fix, as was explicitly stated in the video

The video's not working. All I see is a black rectangular box.

Prior to 2001, a T-Bolt 1000T was in the same spot as the broken T-128 shown in the video. That's when the City of St. Charles replaced its system of T-Bolts, 2T22s and SD-10s with the T-128s. Since then they've also added 4 T-121s in areas to fill in the gaps of where the T-128s weren't reaching. St. Charles also has 2 Whelen 4003s that I know of. And one of the T-121s replaced a Federal 2001, which replaced a T-Bolt.

The other portable siren that St. Charles County has, that I saw, was out in O'Fallon years ago at their July 4th Freedom Fest, and was a Federal DSA.
