My New Toy...

Tue Oct 09, 2012 4:21 am

So after a few days of waiting, and discussing, I got a deal on this thing...

This came from the City of Ponder, will work to get it all cleaned up, and check drivers, and find an amp to get hooked up to it. No controls but it was a steal.

Well...don't lay them down when they're full!

I was kinda surprised at how clean it was inside

NICE GOING!

Thanks for the pics of the innards. That makes for the first time we've ever gotten snapshots of the inside of a 612. You're right, I'm very surprised how clean and simple it is!

Wow, that is cool! I did not know that the rotator motor is inside the head! I really like those pictures.

Very nice! I like the EOWS * 612s alot. The EOWS series is probably my favorite electronic siren, with FS' Modulator and the ASC I-Force close behind (as far as looks go)

Nice, are you the fist to own one? Can you get more pics of the rotator? I would like to see how it works.

Wow, those tiny drivers sure make a lot of noise. Never knew they were actually that small. Always wondered how something that small makes that much noise. Great pics of the inside, and awesome score. It's nice to finally see what makes one of those things tick.

I took out all but two drivers....and every one of em have had water in them, then I pulled a horn off... and confirmed my suspicions. This thing at one point was stored horns up and they were filled with water. Though i've tested 3 drivers, one blew up, and the others have worked after being dried out. So hopefully I'll get a few others that work.
