Okmulgee Mystery Solved?

Today, Cory told me he would be in Okmulgee to check out their sirens. I told him some of the info that I had about them. This..well, whatever this model is, was removed awhile ago and replaced with a 2001-130. I saw the 2001 and I tried getting ahold of the right people to get my hands on the siren. I never could get ahold of anybody. Today, Cory got ahold of people in person which is the best way. Here are some pics he got.





Yes it is very small. He said it could be picked up with the steel mount still attached. There wasn't any model number or name or anything on it, just the motor data plate.

This siren is now spoken for by Cory. He will be picking it up in 30 days.

Dillion, that is a different siren. First time I seen one of those. It must sound like the Federal Signal STH10. It looks to have 12 ports. It looks to be missing the motor cover.

Is that what was thought to be a CTI siren? How interesting; it'd be great if you guys could figure out what it is. I count 10 ports, by the way.

Ah. It just looked like a 12 porter to me. Thanks for the correction. It must sound like half of a 3T22.

I'm guessing it sounds just like a Model 2. Or pretty close to it.

It looks like it was patterned after those 8-port sirens used in France.

Do you mean Model 5/7? Model 2s have 5 ports, it uses the same chopper that the Thunderbolt used.

This has 10 ports I'm guessing it would either sound like a Model 2, a high pitched Model 2, or a Model 5.

No, I mean a Model 2. This has 10 ports. A Model 2 has 5 and the motor spins twice as fast. I know that the Thunderbolt has the same chopper, I own one.

Also keep in mind it's a DC siren and the pitch may vary like it does in most other DC sirens.

I think it is a CTI, from the thread, but I wouldn't jump to conclusions. What I don't get is why does it look different from the ad? Maybe they pulled another 3T22? And knowing CTI, it will sound surprisingly close to a Federal Signal siren.

Edit: Cory, I found the RPM if you didn't already. 2300. The motor is from Advanced DC motors from Syracuse, NY. I'm almost positive the part no. is A00-4009.
