XT22 series vs. STH-10

Tue Aug 13, 2013 12:55 pm

I want to know what the main differences between the XT22 series and the STH-10 are, other than that XT22s have more horns, and whatnot. Is an STH-10 basically an XT22 cut in half? Which is louder, XT22 or STH-10?

XT22s are dual tone. I do believe they have a higher HP too.

The XT22 has dual stators/rotors that run off of a single 10HP motor, the 3T22 also has the capability to do the high/low signal as it is equipped with two dampers/solenoids. The STH-10 has one stator that runs off of a single 10HP motor, but the earlier ones may have had a damper, the latest ones don't.

If we are going to go with this "xt22" business then shouldn't the others be called "STx-10s?"  :?
