Found that while browsing the GA statewide siren map. Thought that was pretty cool.

Nice...there is another one on Google Maps similar to this. Morton Grove IL, this was in the middle of a new installation. Also a Whelen...weird!

Wow, that is an amazing find! That is the best one since the shot of a siren being installed! It is always neat to find things like this.

Looks like they are working on whatever is behind the siren. Pole looks weathered and has no fresh dirt around the base.

I found this today while searching through my Monroe County Siren Map for no reason ;)

Not a Whelen and Not a Whelen truck but I found it an odd coincidence to stumble across it just now after this topic popped up a day ago.

Tyler, how many sirens do I own now?

Thought this went right along with this topic....an EOWS 1212 being removed in Ross, Ohio: http://binged.it/17SfCKV Found this last year or so then posted it here. It wasn't till just now when I remembered this 1212 being removed.

The streetview has been updated, but here is a shot of a maintenance guy servicing a 2001 in Pleasant Valley, IN.

The updated streetview shows me, or my car, parked on a dirt turn off to a substation while I was back in the brush setting up a camera about 40 minutes before the siren test. 8)
