Has Anyone Seen a 40V2T-B Installation Yet?

Tue Jun 10, 2014 1:18 am

As the title says. I believe they've been out since late 2010, so I was wondering if anyone has seen any installations. Also has Sentry stopped production of the Defender?

Sentry has stopped production of the Defender, IIRC.

I don't think the 40V2T-B has actually made it into production yet. Ed Wise would be the one to ask.

The Sentry Defender has been out of production for quite some time now, just Sentry had forgotten to update their website.
As holler said, Ed Wise would know.

Probably because the sheer amount of batteries that beast needed.

My wild guess.

But, if they would take the 10 port rotor out of the 40V2T and put it in a directional siren that would be a BEAST.

There were issues in overloading components when drawing that kind of dc power and there will likely never be any rotating sirens produced by Sentry again Omni - directional is preferred...

If the 40V2T-B has two motors, it should give some very interesting dissonance. If the 15-port side is running a little slow, you would hear a high-pitched HOR tritone.
