I found another siren system of interest and had a little too much free time on my hands. It was quite a tedious go at "I Spy With My Little Eye." Found a couple of Model 5/7s, although the one next to the airfield is questionable. It's high enough off the ground for a siren and is painted red. I also found an out of place Vortex in the system, being that Chambers County is all Federal Signal. I think it is part of Troup County's system. The installation of it looks identical to the newest ones in Russell County. It looks like they had some Civil Defense sirens that were replaced with 2001-SRNs at some of the fire stations, which is probably where they got the Model 5/7s. Those are somewhat simmilar to the ones in Lee County, which to my knowledge, replaced Civil Defense/fire sirens. I used this PDF as a reference, so I marked what I could find in the area as a siren. On the map the green ones apparently are the only ones up. The PDF is from 2006, so some of the installations, 2001-130s, are left off.

They test every first Saturday of the month at noon eastern time, granted the weather is good.
