Pleasanton - Heath Engineering Laboratories Siren

Sat Dec 27, 2014 5:18 am

I haven't seen a post on this, so I'm making a quick one. I don't know if you guys have seen this story about an old abandoned Heath Engineering Laboratories Siren.

This is the only video of the siren to have actual audio of the siren as well. (There are several different versions of these videos, as they were seeming produced for intro videos for a town meeting.)

You'll have to fast forward to about 5:56

Does anyone know of any other Heath sirens out there. The video mentions one other on a tower, but I can't ever recall having even heard of one before tonight?

Haven't heard of the Heath Siren before, but what a fantastic story with that one. Thanks for sharing!

My apologies, I should have researched here a bit more before making a new post.
