Hurricane Mkii Blower Details

Does anyone on the board have any photos of the interior of a mkii blower? If so than some photos would be good as i need to see which particular roots blower the mkii used, and what extra parts i would need should i purchase a hurricane mkii soon. Asking here because i can't find any on the internet for some reason. Thanks.

Do you have any idea how much this is going to cost? The Hurricane blower is huge. After all it takes a 30 horsepower motor to spin it.

The motor alone is about 3500$ new, the 5m size thunderbolt blower is around 2500$, so i figure a suitable blower would run around 4000$. If i get the hurricane i plan on restoring it at some point, and that means a working blower.

You want to drop 4 grand or more on a Hurricane? I would only invest that much in a siren if it were a Chrysler. I have a feeling you're going to be in over your head here.

Eh, i'll save the money somehow. And besides, there likely won't be any hurricanes left in operation before too long, they seem to be a ripe canidate for replacement, so they will become just as rare as the chrysler. It's just something i want to do.

Dude, listen to Luke. He knows what he's talking about. Save the money to pay for your future. Life's expensive and $4000 for what will amount to an oversized paperweight ain't worth it. $4000 is 11 car payments for me, 18 student loan payments, 40 cell phone bill payments...etc etc etc.
