Hollingsworth & Vose Siren

Mon Jul 13, 2015 2:08 pm

I am :D to say that I found a FS model 3/5/7 siren. The siren is at Hollingsworth & Vose in Groton, MA. The exact location is 42.6143163,-71.6314464. If you guys can give me any feedback on when this siren is tested it would be GREATLY appreciated :).

I like a fruit flavored GREATLY in the morning. Thanks!

I didn't find it (however I did find something that I think may be it on the dead end of Vose Dr.), but I suspect it MAY be an old CD siren or a warning siren for the mill or whatever it is on Townsend Road.
Ripe old age of 26.
1950 Model A, 1979 AF Timer, 30 something ID tags, some other odds and ends
Registered Skywarn spotter as of 4/29/18

I actually tried to put a map in the post but it did not work. The siren is actually on the Hollingsworth & Vose building on the right side (if you are looking from the street) next to the smoke stack, but i will check out what is at the end of Vose st. :)

So I take it Hollingsworth and Vose is the industrial building on Townsend?

If so, then to me it kind of looks more like a Model 2 since it doesnt seem big enough to be a 3/5/7.

I went there over the weekend and it has a housing that is grey, with 2 sound directors pointing down (this is why I had the thought that it was a 3/5/7. I also went to the end of vose ave. and we got half way down the street and after that it was all overgrown and we could not go any further,
and yes Hollingsworth and Vose is the industrial building on Townsend Rd.
