Update: I am currently working on a map of Kalamazoo County sirens. I will upload it sometime soon, but I only know several siren locations. I would appreciate it if any locations that I forgot could be added.vacuumcleaner wrote:I could make a map of the Portage siren system.
Thanks for the locations. I have the one downtown. What school is it at?lkreykes wrote:Try and map the 3-4ish Whelen's that are in Galesburg if you can. I know there's one right in the middle of town, one by a school, and one near Ft Custer state park or something like that.
Never mind, I found the one by the school.vacuumcleaner wrote:Thanks for the locations. I have the one downtown. I found the 3 Thunderbeams, but I wasn't able to find either of the Model 2s you described. Where exactly are they at? I couldn't find anything by the Zoetis farm either. I have begun a map: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1eZNlP ... sp=sharingmrknoch wrote:Did you get the ones in Richland. One at the end of Yorkton by the school complex. One by the post office. One on W. Gull Lake drive just north of the Gull Lake country club. Those are all Fed. Signal Thunderbeams. Then there are two owned privately, they both appear to be Fed. Sig. Model 2's (one is on N. 28th st just before it turns right onto E C ave and the other is on the west side of Gull Road just before E D E ave. And there is supposed to be one on N. 28th just south of Gull rd at the Zoetis Farm; I haven't seen this one yet.
