Favorite ACA/ASC Siren?

Mon Feb 29, 2016 10:10 pm

Eh, I'm just bored, so I made this topic. What's your favorite ACA/ASC siren? Mine would be a tie between the 10/12 port Allertor and the 8-port Banshee :banshee: . What's yours? :)

Well, I have always liked the 8/12 port style on the Cyclone and P50!
I own: One complete SiraTone, another SiraTone control module, a 1600W MC, 2 old ATI controllers, 2 round ATI horns with drivers, a ATI-DSA 4 thing, a Federal Signal FC, AR timer and Siratrol, and a small CD&F.

Anything pre-1980, but some highlights include the Cyclone 120, SuperBanshee, and the Screamer series.

I wasn't too fond of T-128's, hearing two of them in Albion, but I was impressed by the Screamers and Banshee's in my hometown. The Banshee's I've heard were very impressed, my ears were ringing after the test. I am a fan of ACA sirens to make a long story short.
In my opinion, I think there way too many 2001's in Indiana!

I also like Hurricanes, but I feel that it's far too similar to the Thunderbolt.

Yeah, I don't like T-128's either, but they're the only electromechanical siren ASC is still manufacturing, so I guess we gotta live with it... And I agree, I flew to my grandma's in Tennessee once, and they coincidentally had their state tornado drill one day. I was too young to be a siren fan and did not know which ones they were, but now that I'm a siren fan, I clearly remember I heard at least 1 2001-DC, a Modulator, and STH-10, and a Banshee. The banshee was actually the loudest of them all, probably the closest. :P
