Sandwich Illinois Thunderbolt 1000T Siren Test

Wed Sep 07, 2016 2:58 am

Hey Guys,

Just went to Sandwich Illinois today to record one of their Thunderbolt 1000T sirens. Sadly the Thunderbolt 1000T siren I went to didn't activate. It's on Route 34 and Duvick Ave. Didn't realize Sandwich Illinois does both Alert and Attack signals. Here's my Thunderbolt 1000T sandwich Illinois siren test video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUlDX6irJJ8

Not sure if you knew this, but that siren is actually dead; the motor is toast, and is scheduled to be replaced soon, along with the Thunderbeam by the fairgrounds. Thankfully, the other 'bolt is not going to be replaced.

Ah... Ok. Didn't know that. Dang it if I knew this Thunderbolt siren didn't work before I would have gone to the other Thunderbolt 1000T siren just five minutes away.
