Federal Signal model 3t?

Sat Sep 17, 2016 3:37 pm

Was the model 3 ever made in a dual tone variant? If so what was the port ratio? The reason I ask is because the 2001 and Equinox both use a model 3 rotor. I have a design in mind for a dual tone 2001 (it's a lot simpler than most would think).
I have an unhealthy obsession with mini sirens.

Yes, they were, they were 9/12 port. They are super uncommon, but they do exist. I am lucky to live 10 minutes away from one. Only the normal 12 port 2001s used the model 3 rotor design, the Equinox variant uses an Eclipse-8 rotor.

He's only been on the board for a month, cut him some slack. And yes, that topic is where a member found one of the only confirmed model 3Ts in existence.
