Sd-10 Siren

Tue Oct 11, 2016 3:23 am

Hello members or ARS, just a quick question... Does anyone know of an SD-10 siren that tests near the georgia area? I love sd-10s and have always wanted to see one go off! Thanks, Nick

It is... but who cares. He can do what he wants. I got the picture off of a different website anyways.
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(

No, It is a picture I took of siren #38 Thunderbolt 1000 In cobb county Georgia. That siren was replaced in early 2013 sadly.

I guess your current picture is, but your previous picture was the same as mine, which I got off of civildefensemuseum.com/org, and was in Valley View, Texas.

The only one I know of is the one at the Oxford Fire Department, I am told that it tests every Wednesday at 12pm. It is located at 801 Whatcoat St, Oxford, GA. If I remember correctly there is also a Federal model 2 right next to it!

Gabriel is correct on the Oxford siren.

There are two others I know of:
Holly and Andrews in Atlanta (dead as can be)
Forsyth (the city, not the county)'s water tower.
25, unfortunately not dead yet.
1950 Model A, 1940s Darley Champion
Registered Skywarn spotter as of 4/29/18
