When did the Whelen WPS 2800 series come out?

I'm curious to know when the 2800 series was released.
Proud owner of a Whelen ESC-2020 controller, Federal Thunderbolt 1000A, Federal Model L, Darley Model 2 and a Model 120 from the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant.

1995 and if this is involving San Onofre 2006 was the final year they were produced. San Onofre has some of the last installed.
