RPMs For Motors On Alerting Communicator's Of America Sirens

I already know that a siren made by Federal Signal Is 3,450 RPMs but I am kind of confused, what is the RPM for an ACA Siren?

Pretty much the same thing. The sirens all use run of the mill motors, so the RPM of each is nearly identical, unless it uses a custom motor like a Federal Model 2 or Thunderbolt.

That's true, with the exception of newer sirens from Federal Signal and American Signal Corperation. They all run at 4000 RPM, give or take depending on battery voltage and wind.

In the instruction manual of the ACA Allertor siren the maximum speed of the 10HP motor is 3,500RPM. I not sure if this rpm range applies to other ACA sirens but from what I know it Applies to the Allertor.

Just remember, you can instantly calculate the speed of any siren simply by knowing its pitch and the number of ports. For example, there is a Sentry siren near me that I have recorded, and when I analyzed the sound with a spectrograph, I found its pitch to be 473.1 Hz. I believe it's a 3V8-H, 7V8, or 10V...which means that it has 8 ports. So 473.1 (Hz) divided by 8 (ports) times 60 (seconds in a minute) equals 3,548 rpm.
