Model 2 in Canyon City, Oregon.

Mon Sep 03, 2018 4:19 am

So what most of you northwest siren enthusiasts know is that Canyon City, Oregon has a screamer. But what you probably didn't know? They have a Model 2 as well. I bet that someone found it long before I did, and has mentioned it somewhere else on the board, but I would like to know what its purpose was at one time...it doesn't seem to be used anymore, it looks rusted, sitting on a pole. If you haven't found it and want to know where it is, well here ya go:https://www.google.com/maps/@44.3957994 ... 312!8i6656

Looks to be a mid-era 2, judging by the evenly-spaced louvers. Cool find!

Thank you! It definitely is a cool find...funny thing is, I was looking for the screamer that's in town, and I found that...
